Bio

I live in Thorn Hill and graduated from Washburn in 1980.  I am married to Bill Johnson.  My parents are Edna Farmer and the late Larry Farmer. I have two sisters, five nephews, one niece,  one great-niece, and three great-nephews.

We attend Cornerstone Baptist Church, and I teach Sunday School and VBS there.   I also sing in the choir.

I have a pet dog, Snapper.  He is nine years old and my baby!

I am a graduate of Walters State Community College (1980), Lincoln Memorial University (1985), East Tennessee State University (1990), and University of Tennessee at Knoxville (2002).

I have taught at Washburn since 1985.  People keep wondering and asking when I am going to retire, and I keep answering "I am not ready!"  I love my job and the kids I teach.  So I will hang in there until the time comes that I am ready to hang it up.
